Is it wrong that I want my children to feel greatness?
I want them to feel the joy of working hard and celebrating a win. Weather it is finding a job that they enjoy or winning in the Olympics/World Cup/whatever sport they excel in, I want them to WANT it. Making them realized they can do whatever they set their minds on.
I can sense greatness in both of them and it hurts when they cannot see it. It hurts when they give up because they think they can’t. It hurts when someone tells them they are not good enough.
I cannot shelter them forever. They will have to find that greatness in their own way. But the one thing I can say is I will be there all the way.
