Gah!!! I hate this part. I can’t wait until it is over.
Size 2…
That is what Mia is wearing in diaper size as of Friday. But the funny thing is that they are too big whereas the size 1’s are too small for her to wear. I guess she will grow into them, which I am sure that won’t be a problem.
Then later, I will be writing the same post but I’ll replacing the 1’s with 2’s and the 2’s with 3’s.
*sigh* How time flies very quickly.
Count Down…
So we found out that Diego can count backwards from 10. But the funny part is after he finishes counting, he yells “Fire in the hole!”
That kid!! 😛
Picture Time…
We took Mia to get her 3 month pictures taken today. My plan was just pictures of Mia since Diego has is own 3 month pictures. Of course, when Diego found out he wanted pictures too. :p
Well, it is only fair since we did not get 3 year portraits for him so now we have 3 1/2 year portraits of him.
We had to really work to get Mia to smile. Granted, it was 6:30 pm and we had to wake her up once we got there. Since we were late, the lady (Yolanda) told us we only had 10 minutes for the session. Mia had two clothing changes so I hoped we could do it quickly. So while Mia was getting her pictures take, I got Diego dressed since I had no time change him at home. The pictures came out so cute. I really do have cute kids which I don’t know how that is possible. 🙂 But I can’t wait to get the pictures.
My Family…
2nd Month Appointment…
Mia’s 2nd month appointment finally arrived. I can believe it has been two months (plus three days) since she has arrived. It is just amazing. She can now get on her side, smile, track stuff and “talks.” Just love he baby talk.
Anyway, here are Mia’s stats:
11 lb 13 oz
23 1/2 in long
She got the rotovirus oral med. She threw it up right away. Good thing I had an extra onsie with me. She also got two shots. Poor baby, she cried and cried. She is doing really well. The doctor is very pleased with her development.
Next appointment: March 14.
Red Velvet Cake…
This is the first time I make any cake from scratch. I also made the cream cheese frosting from scratch too. My food critics (Eric and Diego) gave it a thumbs up. Yay!!!
Race Time…
Yes, it is that time of year. I just signed up for the Shamrock Shuffle that takes place on March 29. I have two months and half to train for it. I know I can do it. I just need to get some motivation. =)
Happy New Year…
Welcome 2009!!! My only resolution this year is not to make any resolutions. I know I will keep this one. I do promise I will post more, I still have to add some 2008 post that I keep meaning to add but I just am too sleep deprived to do that. Some day I will sleep again.
Cheers everyone!!!
Merry Christmas…
to all and a good night to all!!!
