She’s A Walking…

I have proof. Really. Look:

Mmmm, okay maybe not. How about now?

See told ya. She is getting better and better everyday. It’s probably been two weeks since she started to walk. She is at the point where she falls down and she stands up on her own and continues with her walk. So cute.

And this picture shows her four teeth:

Diego was there too. Here is one of him:

It was a beautiful day at the park. It was probably mid 60 when we were there. Not shabby for a day in early November.

Happy Halloween…

It was cold and windy.  No rain so it was fantastic.  We were invited to a Halloween party so that is where we started.  Well, Diego and I went ahead first.  Mia hadn’t taken a nap so Eric stayed at home with her.  It was a fun time.  We had food and the kids watched Ice Age.  At 5:30, we went trick or treating.  Well, Diego did.  Mia just stayed in the stroller.  I was sad because no one really saw her costume but I guarantee she looked cute.  Here are some pictures I did take:

This is Eric’s first carved pumpkin he ever did:
Happy Halloween!!!

I have to say, I was impressed.  Lots of sketches were done until this one was declared the winner.

And both of them together:

Not the best pictures but this is the best I can do.  It is hard to have them look at the camera at the same time. 🙂

First Day of School…

[Yes, I am back dating these posts. Sue me! ;)]

Diego has officially started Pre-K!!! So excited!!! I bought him his book bag the minute I found out he was accepted into his school. So we went to Target and let him pick out his lunch bag. He doesn’t need any school supplies because they will be providing all of that.

Here are some pictures of his first day of school:

Found it!

He has a locker but it has no door. His teacher, Mrs. Brown, is very nice and Diego seems to like her. We took a family picture a few days prior to the first day of school which Mrs. Brown printed and laminated. He has the picture in his locker so whenever he misses us he can take it out and see us.

I hope he enjoys school. I think he will.

Diego Funny…

This morning on the way to day care, Diego was telling me the things he needs: Go Diego Go shoes, Go Diego Go shorts, Go Diego Go shirt, Go Diego Go backpack, Go Diego Go etc. He was like “Got that Mama?” And I said yes, I am writing it down on my list, which I wasn’t but I was taking mental notes. He asked where the list was. And I answered “It’s in my head”. Which to he responed “Did you eat it?” 😛 Eric and I just about peed our pants laughing. Love that kid!

Napping…

Is no more. Diego hasn’t really napped for at least a few weeks. He does sleep if he is in the truck and we are driving somewhere but at home, he doesn’t. When I mention naptime, he’ll say he doesn’t like to nap anymore. I don’t even push it. I don’t want any tears so unless he needs one, no more.

Diego is growing up. *sigh* But it is a good thing. 🙂

School Time…

Diego has been officially signed up for Pre-school/Pre-Kindergarden for Fall ’09. I can’t believe he is old enough for this. Where has my baby gone??? The good thing is that we can go school supply shopping. I loved doing that when I was a kid and I am sure Diego will too.

Eeeeek! So excited!!!
