It is Mardi Gras!!! Wear your beads proudly and eat all the paczkis you can find. These guys are mine!
It was cold and windy. No rain so it was fantastic. We were invited to a Halloween party so that is where we started. Well, Diego and I went ahead first. Mia hadn’t taken a nap so Eric stayed at home with her. It was a fun time. We had food and the kids watched Ice Age. At 5:30, we went trick or treating. Well, Diego did. Mia just stayed in the stroller. I was sad because no one really saw her costume but I guarantee she looked cute. Here are some pictures I did take:
I have to say, I was impressed. Lots of sketches were done until this one was declared the winner.
Not the best pictures but this is the best I can do. It is hard to have them look at the camera at the same time. 🙂
to all and a good night to all!!!
I hope you have a wonderful day!
We, on the other hand, are just going to hang out at home. We really don’t need to spend any money today since we need to pay current bills and save money for our upcoming trip. We will just spend it at home with Diego. That makes me happy. We will probably go out at a later date and have a nice dinner.
It is gone. We took it down. It is kinda sad to see the space unoccupied now. But we were already tired of it on January 2. 😀 I thought Diego was going to give us a hard time but he helped us take it down.
Well, it is only 11 months to go before it comes out again. Crazy ain’t it???
Just got them today. Thankfully I went home for lunch because they were there waiting for me. So, I stuffed, sealed, labeled and stamped 53 cards. Mailed 51 cards, two were hand delivered. Unhappy that I got them today but happy that they are in the mail and will be picked up at 3:30. So, I hope the ones in Chicago get delivered tomorrow and the rest get delivered on Christmas Eve. If not, then they should get them the day after Christmas.
Either way, they are ALL DONE!!! Woo hoo!!!
