a new adventure everyday
I have added another run to my docket. It is the Run For The Zoo 5K race. It sounds like fun because some of the race is done through the Lincoln Park Zoo, hence the name of the race. I also signed up Diego for the Kangaroo Hop. I am sure he will do fine since he loves to run.
I can’t wait!
Well, I went ahead and splurged on some more Fuzzi Bunz. It kind sucks to keep washing the same one over and over. It kinda defeats the propose of saving environment, ya know?
So for my quest on finding everything I needed at one website, I found The Stork Warehouse. I ordered 4 diapers (sage, periwinkle, baby blue & butter), a WAHMies All Day Wetbag and extra inserts.
So will have a nice nighttime diaper rotation once I do get them. I will be laundering less, probably once a week. And I will have a nice bag to keep them in.
So now it is count down time. I will be expecting fluffy mail by the end of the week. 🙂
So today after work, Eric raced upstairs to the deck to continue working on the deck. Here is his progress:
If you notice the frames on the bottom of the picture, there are boards. Eric and I (yes, little ole me) carried them on Saturday from the garage and up three flights of stairs to the roof. Let me tell ya, it was a workout.
He was able to finish drilling all the boards on the frames except on the ones that he has to cut the wood in order to get around the pipes that are up there. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so I doubt he is going to work on the roof. I know he is planning to take a few days of from work this week but it all depends on Mother Nature.
Every time I go up there it just seems like a dream that there is a deck up there. I am so proud of Eric for doing this by himself.
That is what Diego wished me yesterday. This is what I live for. 🙂
I am making it official. Fuzzi Bunz rocks! This is the nighttime diaper for us. I am waiting for the new print to come out to order new ones. Plus I already decided to get a WAHMies wet bag. I only have two Overnights left and I am keeping those in case we stay out late. I am very giddy with this. 😛
I can say this diaper rocks! After drinking lots and lots of liquid last night, Diego woke up dry. I am in heaven. The only thing is I have to figure how tight I need to have the thigh snaps snapped at. This morning he woke up with red marks on one leg. Right now I snap them on the second snap closest to his skin. I may just do the first one and see if that helps.
Diego looked so cute sleeping in just his diaper. He was hot, hot, hot last night. So Eric stripped him down and he knocked out. The good news is he woke up dry again. Now I need to add a few more Fuzzi Bunz to this collection and a wet bag so I can keep them enclosed until it is time to wash them.
Still dry and it only had two inserts. I am so falling in love with these diapers. Even Eric like them. I have to take a picture of Diego in his diaper, he looks so cute. He likes to look at them and say “elephant” and “zoo”! Fuzzi Bunz are getting a big thumbs up from me.
Diego was posing for pictures this afternoon. Two things to notice: new haircut and new sandals.
More good news. Diego woke up dry free again. Why didn’t I try Fuzzi Bunz before? I think Manda suggested it awhile back. Why didn’t I listen to her?? Live and learn right? All the wetness stayed inside the diaper and it was even more than yesterday. I am loving them. Still triple stuffing them but if I see that he did not drink too much tonight, I am going to try just double stuffed. Keeping my fingers crossed!
