Bought my laptop. I am so happy! I haven’t done much with it but I did get the internet working on it. And I installed Firefox, YIM and MSN Messenger. I haven’t had much time to play with it.
I love what I have seen. Back lit keyboard and 15 inch monitor. I might buy a wireless mouse but I need to get used to the pad first.
I am so happy!!!!
We went to the Mac Store today. I was so going to buy the laptop but it was just crazy. I couldn’t get any one’s attention since all the sales people were busy. A little sad but it is okay. Maybe we will go again tomorrow.
I, too, was told my numbers for bonus and salary.
I was pleasantly surprised in both areas.

Eric got a promotion and a raise today at work!!!!
I am so proud of him. We have only been waiting for this for 9 months. I am so happy!!!
And not only did he get a promotion but his two worker bees got one too. I am very proud of what he had done with his team.
We went to Heaven On Seven to celebrate. It was nummy!
I got my Shamrock Shuffle bib number in the mail today. It is number 11012. I am so excited and nervous about this. I have to go pick up my race packet either March 23 or 24 at Navy Pier. The race is getting closer. *eek*
As previously written, Diego has used the potty chair once. We are really not pushing this but when the opportunity arises, we go for it. Usually after we bathe Diego was bathed, we let him play in the tub for a little while. After a while, we noticed he was grunting. I hightailed it to get the potty chair from the downstairs bathroom. We take Diego out of the bath, dry him off a little bit and sit him down on the chair. He was pointing to himself and saying “poo poo” in Spanish. We were cheering him on. So we waited and waited. He was playing with some rubber “ucks” while sitting on the potty. And we waited some more. This went on for about 30 minutes. So finally Eric finally asked Diego if he wanted up. He did and we noticed that he had gone number 1. Diego peed in the potty and we did not even notice. Yay!!!
Saga continues…
Well, last night I did two good deeds. One planned and the other unplanned.
On Tuesday, I found a UIC ID at the parking garage across the street from Little Gym. I figured I should find the person, which I did via the school online directory, and send them an email. After sending an email to the ID’s owner and waited over 24 hours, I finally got an email from her yesterday. We met at Caribou and she was very grateful.
So I was walking home, someone asked me where Prairie Ave & 14th St was. So I gave him instructions on how to get there.
That made me feel good on a cold and windy night. I did two good unselfish things this week. I think I am set for the rest of the year. 😉
Well we are getting closer to spring than we are to winter. Also, this is the first year that we are setting our clocks back (spring back) in March, March 11 to be exact. That should be good but I have a feeling it is going to wreck havoc on Diego’s sleeping pattern. Let’s hope not.

I am going to see Justin Timberlake in concert with Manda. He will be at the Allstate Arena on March 12 & 13. I am so excited. I am not a really big fan of his but I do like a lot of his current songs. March 13 here we come!!!
Diego used the potty today!!! OMG! I don’t care if he doesn’t use it for another two weeks or months, but I was just so excited when my aunt told me.
This past weekend we bought a potty chair for Diego, this one. He went with us so we had him try it to make sure he could sit on it. Took it home and put it in the powder room. He sees it every time we open the powder room.
So today, my aunt noticed Diego was pushing. You can so tell because he turns bright red and he holds is breath. She took off his pants and diaper and sat him on his potty. She then told him to push and she demonstrated. So he did and pooped in the potty!!!
I had just had a conversation with Eric about buying him some Pull Ups instead of his normal Huggies. We have one big box left. We shall see how this continues…
